Saturday 4th November 2. The Willows. We welcome back The Willows to Grayshott Folk Club. The Willows are a five- piece Folk/Rock band from Cambridge who have recently added Katriona Gilmore (of The Albion Band and Gilmore & Roberts) to their line up.+ Alden, Patterson and Dashwood- are an innovative and melodic trio from Norwich who came and played the support slot for Breabach for us, earlier this year. Magpie Lane are a wonderful, traditional English Folk quintet from Oxford, whose focus is on vocals and harmony singing. They sing seasonal, Winter and Christmas songs, some familiar, others not so but each one is delivered with passion and precision. This will be the perfect way to get your Christmas off to a happy and joyful start.+ Mervyn Mewis and Kathryn Young- Mervyn and Kathryn came to play for us earlier in the year when they supported Faustus. Mervyn plays the Hammer Dulcimer, whilst Kathryn plays a range of Harps. Together they make beautiful music, some of which dates back hundreds of years. In addition to playing skillfully and beautifully, Mervyn and Kathryn actually make their own instruments.
